I have decided to leave the Dramatists Guild, as I am hoping to focus more energy into my writing and submit more. Thanks to the Kennedy Center Intensive, I am at a place in my writing where I feel comfortable, and happy again, with my writing to submit it to theaters. I’m also going to focus on my applications for grad school. We’ll see.
One of the things that I learned while working at the Guild was that sometimes it takes one, two, or even three tries at something before you finally get it, or even better, get it right. I will continue to take that with me wherever I go next.
